Driving through Kansas...
Today was a long day of driving - definitely drove faster than 65 mph. I stopped in Colby KS in honor of my friend Colby. I did not stop to see the world's largest prairie dog and I'm sure I'll always regret it!
Kansas City
Lindsay and Mat's (I did not misspell that - it only has one T, like Tod only has one d).
Did you know that Kansas City has lots and lots of fountains?
Loved my BBQ sandwich at Oklahoma Joe's - it's in a gas station ya'll.
Derek turns 3 this weekend. He says I'm a giraffe and Will is a goat.
This reminds me of when I was in first grade and JCL called me a big fat orange orangutan. I'd much rather be a giraffe!
Thanks Linds!
No date here either - This time Todd (with two d's) had this excuse:
Before taking off today for my next stop, I got together with my second cousin, Ann. My grandpa Lew and Ann's grandpa Roy were brothers and both were morticians. But that is not the point. The point is that we hung out around the plaza in KCMO - had lunch and discussed bird watching. It was very enjoyable. Katy,
Thanks for the invite. I would love to meet you but unfortunately I'm working in South Korea and won't be back home until December. If you are ever back in KC again let me know. Thanks Todd

Found your blog. I seriously laughed outloud when I read about you being called a orange orangatan. Have fun!
If you could go back in time what would you call JCL right back?
Kansas City DOES have a lot of fountains...I always thought it would be flat and dull...it's actually gorgeous! We really liked it there.
So great having you here! Loved it! Thanks for coming and all your help. Loved the biology class on bugs too! You're the greatest!
You are the best...Happy Trails...aor
