BDAA - Stop #3

Driving through Kansas...

Today was a long day of driving - definitely drove faster than 65 mph. I stopped in Colby KS in honor of my friend Colby. I did not stop to see the world's largest prairie dog and I'm sure I'll always regret it!

Did you know that Kansas City has lots and lots of fountains?
Loved my BBQ sandwich at Oklahoma Joe's - it's in a gas station ya'll.


Derek turns 3 this weekend. He says I'm a giraffe and Will is a goat.
This reminds me of when I was in first grade and JCL called me a big fat orange orangutan. I'd much rather be a giraffe!

Before taking off today for my next stop, I got together with my second cousin, Ann. My grandpa Lew and Ann's grandpa Roy were brothers and both were morticians. But that is not the point. The point is that we hung out around the plaza in KCMO - had lunch and discussed bird watching. It was very enjoyable.
