Ann Dee has returned to P-town. Thank goodness. I spent a few hours helping her with the move this morning.
Then I stopped by the buddy walk. This is the third year in a row that our family has participated and it is always a lot of fun. As you can see, this year was no exception. Ty and Luke are ready for the game.
This afternoon I golfed at Sleepy Ridge for the first time this season. I loved the mountain views - probably why I didn't hit the golf ball very well. Yeah - that is it - cause I was distracted by the views.
Eric took some pictures on our bike ride this afternoon up Hobble Creek. One day when he posts them on Flickr, I'll hijack a couple to add to this post.
Here they are. He is a great photographer. Thanks Eric.
I came home to find Larry and Sam on my couch watching the football game. My mom and a few sisters were cleaning and organizing at my parents house under the assumption that my dad and Sam were going to the game. I guess they decided my TV and couch were just as good and a lot less effort. I thought it was kind of funny.
Sam and I just finished organizing the storage unit for my folks. I got a parking spot for my bike and my clubs and a free hibachi grill out of the deal.
Laundry. Blogging. Bath. Bed.

Win it for SwaYze
Last Saturday was packed with events like:
bird watching with MW at Antelope Island and Farmington Bay
tailgate parties
football games
Can't see the score? Yeah well that was by design - you know why.
and house warming parties for this lovely lady (I stole this from her facebook page).
I don't think BYU's football team cared that much about Patrick Swayze.
This Saturday is packed with moving, buddy walk, golf, bike ride, church meetings, old friends, new friends, and maybe a late movie.

Cooking For One with Katy - Episode 14
This version is missing some critical footage from our high school lip sync. However SRH is working on finding it so possibly a newer version will be more complete.
And yes, I realize I have not published episode 13 yet but I will soon.
My new addiction has been keeping me very busy. I might be doing the pumpkinman on October 17th. By the way, does anyone want to sponsor me? If you pay for my registration fees, I'll wear any t-shirt you want and then blog about it and post pics on facebook. Think of all that publicity!!! Just to be clear, if you sponsor me, I will not win anything but I will always finish.

I consider swimming my strongest of the three sports. I prepared for the open water swim at Utah Lake and at Deer Creek. I felt prepared. However, I was not. I'm not sure why, but I freaked out in the water and could never catch my breath. I couldn't swim freestyle so I ended up swimming breaststroke and sidestroke. I tried backstroke but the waves at the lake made me sea sick. I am very disappointed about this part of the triathlon. The bike and run were OK - probably better than the last triathlon.
I feel I need to do another open water triathlon soon so I can conquer this problem and not let time build up more anxiety about swimming in the open water. I think I might have been able to calm down and actually swim as I know I can if I had someone with me. So ... here is my question - who wants to do a triathlon this fall in St. George (Kokopelli on Sept 26th) or Las Vegas (Pumpkinman on Oct 17th)? Please post a comment or email me: katy_knight@mac.com
It would be best if you are a woman in your early thirties (then we would most likely start together in the same heat).
I posted this on Monday about training for the Bear Lake triathlon.
